B) - Spitfire Mk.I K9798 WZ-L, GC Unwin?, 19 Squadron, May 1939 Grumpy Unwin Born Bolton Upon Dearne South Yorkshire just at the back of our warehouse, son of a coal miner who by 1939 as a Regular enlisted Flight Sergeant got his wings in 1935 had more Spitfire hours than any one in the RAF at the time. As an NCO Pilot did more of the deliveries and testing aircraft after servicing, hence the hours on Spits.
